Jindo Music Bingo

The Project

Jindo Music Bingo is an all-digital music bingo platform used by DJs, trivia hosts, and venues across the US. The product replaces paper cards and manual win checks with a web-based gameshow — players join via QR code, mark digital cards as song clips play, and the system verifies winners automatically.

The Challenge

The legacy React 16 frontend had accumulated technical debt and inconsistent UI patterns. Jindo needed a modern, accessible design system and a Next.js architecture that could support host dashboards, player experiences, and marketing pages — all without requiring app downloads.

The Solution

Led the frontend modernization to Next.js with Radix UI primitives and Panda CSS for a cohesive, themeable component library. The platform runs entirely in the browser across Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Android devices.

Custom Game Creation — Hosts build music bingo games in a web-based Jam Deck: shuffle tracks, configure clip lengths, and launch sessions without printing cards.

Dynamic Gameplay — Players receive digital bingo cards on their phones via QR code. As 15–30 second song clips play, cards update in real time and wins are verified automatically.

Host Tools — The Jam Deck gives hosts live player card activity, song facts, and post-game review/tip options — keeping the focus on entertainment rather than manual scorekeeping.

Impact

Jindo serves professional hosts and venue operators with subscription-based hosting, virtual show booking, and in-person music bingo events — delivering out-of-this-world engagement without paper chaos.
